The four SDC formats differ in occasion, result, and responsibility for implementation. They can be chosen independently of each other.
The most important distinction
A clear mandate is more important than the name of the format. We define what will be worked out, who will participate, and how the results will be reviewed.

Effort and fee
Before commissioning, we clarify the task, results, timeframe, and your involvement. The offer describes my services, additional external costs, and the rules for changes.
A serious cost assessment requires this foundation. There is no mandatory package sequence. For a clearly defined task, direct implementation may be more sensible than an extensive upstream process.
Discuss suitable entry pointIf the goal is still vague or there are several contradictory recommendations, the basis for decision-making takes precedence first. Discovery examines the relevant segment and prepares justified priorities. If the offer and direction are already clear, but important services are hard to find or understand, Visibility can be the right entry point.
Growth assumes that capacity is available for practical implementation. I accompany decisions, provide expert feedback, and review results with your team. Partnership combines guidance with agreed-upon own implementation services across multiple disciplines. The main difference lies in who takes on which work. The names of the formats are not consecutive mandatory stages.
The effort depends, among other things, on the number of services, the condition of existing content, technical dependencies, and required approvals. A single service page can be scoped differently than the reorganization of multiple websites. Existing analyses can be used if their findings are comprehensible and relevant to the current question.
The offer includes the agreed work results and responsibilities. Additional licenses, services from other providers, and ongoing maintenance are explicitly categorized. If you wish to continue implementation with your team, you will need a corresponding handover. If you would like to purchase capacity for this, it will be agreed upon as part of the collaboration.
Describe the most important change you want to achieve and a concrete indication that there is a problem. Add who is collaborating internally and whether there is a deadline or a technical specification. This often makes it possible to deduce whether clarification, a technical review, or direct implementation is needed first.
A limited start can make sense if important assumptions are still open. After the initial result, we check whether the chosen direction holds up and what further effort is justified. A different format is only useful if the task or the distribution of responsibilities changes accordingly.
You want to present a new service on your website. If the target group, offer, and technical foundations are already clear, the redesign of this single page can be agreed upon directly. If the benefits, boundaries, and responsibilities are still open, we will clarify these points first. This does not automatically require examining the entire digital strategy. The effort required for the review depends on the uncertainty and the consequences of the decision. Subsequent expansion also remains a separate decision based on the results achieved.
